How the exam works
Choose your level
Revit User covers the interface, modeling, editing and sheets. Revit Professional covers families, documentation and schedules. BIM Coordinator covers worksharing, coordinates and links, clashes, model health and ISO 19650.
Answer before the timer ends
Choose answers, click the right place on a Revit screen, match items or put steps in order. Flag a question to come back to it, and check all your answers on the review screen before you end the exam.
Get your certificate
Score 70% or more and type your name as it should appear. Download the certificate as an image or PDF, add it to your LinkedIn profile and share the link to it.
The certificate you get when you pass
It shows your name, the level you passed, your score and the date. Every certificate has its own number and a QR code that opens its page on mahelak.com, so an employer can check it in seconds. Download it as an image or PDF and add it to your LinkedIn profile.

Sample certificate for the Revit Professional level.
The three exam levels
| Level | Questions | Time | Topics |
|---|---|---|---|
| 01 Revit User | 15 | 20 min | Interface and navigation, modeling basics, editing tools, views and sheets |
| 02 Revit Professional | 18 | 30 min | Families, documentation, data and schedules, advanced modeling |
| 03 BIM Coordinator | 18 | 30 min | Worksharing, coordinates and links, clash detection and model exchange, model health, ISO 19650 |
Every level needs 70% to pass. Questions are drawn from a larger bank, so each attempt is different. A question counts only when it is fully right, and unanswered questions count as wrong.
What the certificate shows and how to check one
The certificate shows your name, the level you passed, your score, the date and a certificate number such as MH-P-25FE-11A2. It has a QR code and a link to its own page on mahelak.com, so an employer or client can open it and see the same details.
You can download it as a PNG image or an A4 PDF. When you share the link on LinkedIn, the post shows a preview of your certificate.
This is an independent skills certificate issued by Mahelak. It is not an Autodesk certification and is not endorsed by Autodesk. Revit is a trademark of Autodesk, Inc.
Revit exam questions
No. Autodesk runs its own paid certification exams, such as Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit for Architectural Design. This free exam is a skills check from Mahelak that follows the same kind of topics, and the certificate shows the level and score you reached here. It is a good way to find your weak spots before a paid exam, or to show what you know on LinkedIn.
Yes. There is no fee, no account and no email needed. If you don’t pass, you can take the exam again with a new set of questions.
70% at every level. A question counts only when it is fully right: for a matching question every pair must be correct, and for an order question every step must be in the right place. When the timer runs out, your answers are sent automatically.
After you pass, click Add to LinkedIn profile. LinkedIn opens the Licenses & certifications form already filled in with the certificate name, Mahelak as the issuing organization, the issue date, the certificate number and the link. Check it and save. To post about it, click Share on LinkedIn.
No, so check the spelling before you click Issue my certificate. Type your name the way you want employers to see it. Names in Arabic and other scripts are supported.
If you reload the page in the same browser tab, you can carry on where you left off. Your answers are kept and the timer keeps running. Closing the tab ends the attempt.
